I'm learing something new every day. I didn't know there was a reddish egret and now I not only get to see one but his mirror image as well. Thanks Gale.
We took a photo of the same bird, but it was looking the other way:

Looking at the Sibley Guide, we think the Reddish Egret should have black legs, while a Juvenile Tri-colored Heron looks almost like a Reddish Egret but it has yellow legs. It is really hard to tell for sure.
This is the only photo we have (there may have been others, but anything out of focus went in the trash). Do you, or any of the other, have any more to double check?
