Nice shot Gale. I like the mirror image effect....
Re: OK I'll brave the storm Redish Egret
Nice. Good composition on that shot.
on that one Galye, so have you recovered from the weekend yet, what a pleasure hanging out with ya
Nice one, Gale. Shows some of the personality of the little guy.
Glad I finally got to meet you, and thanks for the ride and the insight you provided while on it.
Post some more!!!
I am really facinated with reflections these days.
Thank You Harry.
Bit of a reach on this one , but like the redish egret. Do not see them to often. He was the only one I saw.
Thank you very much
I am ready to go do it again.
Had a wonderful time.
You are all just really great.
wonder if we will ever get all that processing done.
I am really thrilled with the Osprey.
I'm learing something new every day. I didn't know there was a reddish egret and now I not only get to see one but his mirror image as well. Thanks Gale.
Thank you. More redish Egret in my wild life gallery.. He is a character.
Nice work Gale
He looks as if he's rearranging his plumage!
Steve this one is always rearanging something.
Fishes funny to. Jumps all around. Not like othere egrets and harons that stalk.
More in my wildlife gallery.
We took a photo of the same bird, but it was looking the other way:
Looking at the Sibley Guide, we think the Reddish Egret should have black legs, while a Juvenile Tri-colored Heron looks almost like a Reddish Egret but it has yellow legs. It is really hard to tell for sure.
This is the only photo we have (there may have been others, but anything out of focus went in the trash). Do you, or any of the other, have any more to double check?
