Remembering Memorial Day

    A friend of mine took these shots at Arlington National Cemetary yesterday with his pocket camera. I guess you don't need expensive equipment to capture the emotion of the moment. For me they are hard to look at but they remind us that tomorrow is much more than just a day off from work.

  2. The hurt people must injure because of the stupidity of man kind… Nothing can be said or reasons given to ease the pain these people are suffering...

  5. Heart-shaking photos, they've really touched my deepest feelings.

    May I suggest a different view of the first one? Just cropping I think it transmits better the loneliness of the young woman. I've also corrected levels and added some saturation and USM.
