So just what are you using for remote firing of your D2H?
    MC-20? MC 25? MC-30?
Anyone using a ML-3 for infrared control? Very cool but rather pricey from what I can see.
    How about third party remotes?
  2. mc30 is what i use, i keep several on hand.

I use the ML-3 remote. Yea, it's pricey, but it's easy to use and has a "standard" sized shutter release. The corded remotes looked to me (via internet pictures mostly) to have teeny buttons. It works well with a tripod setup and maintains all the functions. The downside to it (at least for a D1/D2 series camera) is it's a hotshoe accessory, just like the SB800 or SC17/SB800, etc. You have to find something to hang it on.

Planning on using it tomorrow for some Christmas pics with the family.

MC-20, either on its own or used in conjunction with MC-35 and a GPS device. Always have 3 or 4 with me, that is, one for each camera plus at least one spare for each MC-20 unit.
  6. I keep several because you never know when you might damage one(stretch or hang it) Bought mine on ebay but they ar worth the money, mostly use mine for macro.
