What do you use for a remote shutter?

I have a Nikon ML3 being delivered today and was curious what everyone else uses on thier D2x.

  3. I received my ML-3 yesterday. Plan on using it on my D2H to take images of deer that visit my yard daily. Camera will be set up on my porch at night.

Because I am using as flash bracket with a Better Beamer I found I needed the ML-2 bracket which I ordered from B & H today. Hopefully it will arrive Monday.

My ML3 showed up today. Looks like a nice piece of equipment. Coming from the D70 I am excited to play with MLU. :)

As a brand new D2X owner, I am a bit clueless about the options for remote releases. Can someone fill me in?

  6. I plan on using a remote cord, such as the MC-30. For the D2X/H the ultimate is using the WT2 and a computer. However, for field us, I will go with the MC-30.

I bought an MC-30 today. Works great.

    MC-30 and extension

I 've found that the 10' extension is helpful in using corded remote for the D2H/X. There doesn't seem to be any lag in response to the hand-held release with the extension in place.
