I recently sent my 28-70 in to Kurt's camera repair in San Diego for an intermittent autofocus problem. When I received lens back the invoice listed the work they had done.
Replaced front zoom guides and re secure main circuit board
to mounting plate.
Then lens was out of warranty by a couple of months. Is there anything I may have done to create the zoom guide problem either in use or handling? Also, does the circuit board sometimes come loose or is it just part of the procedure needed to access the zoom guides?
