When I first saw this my first thought was "rapture", the second was thank goodness we didn't see any eagles

    John,

Except for the shot of me with my big mouth open, you captured the mood very well. Oh wait, that just may be a normal pose for me.

  4. Thanks John, one of the better photos of me. far enough away to not show my age. :)

Okay, so we can see who Mr. Yellow was...where is Mr. Pink?

  7. John,

I am so glad you drove down to join us. I do love my gear, but not that much...I am just have my hand up there to stabilize it

    Reservoir Dogs....that's too funny!

  8. Hmmm, what part of the dam wer ya'll at? Didn't look like the areas we were at last year! And yep, I'm glad ya'll didn't see any eagles, maybe my eagle knew I wasn't there and decided to stay home!?

  9. Beautiful, John! I love that shot of all of us spread out along the rocks and water's edge. Thanks for hauling my heavy gear around! Don't know what I would've done without you and Flew!!

Dianne, we were very close to the dam itself in case they opened the turbines. In that shot of Larry, if you were to look further out beyond his bazooka and to his right, there would be the dam.

  10. The first couple of pictures we are on the upriver side of the dam, not far from the north side where we were last year...but you are right we didn't go to this spot last year. Gary (Hangin Tree) took some of us there looking for eagles. We later drove around to the south side which was our second location last year as well.

  11. Great set John.
