I have an interesting question. Interesting, at least, to me...

I've done several shoots with charitable organisations, and I've been more than pleased to share the photos for their websites, and in use for some brochures. One group has approached me about printing some of the photos and selling them.

I'm striving to think about what would be a fair price on smaller (5x7 or 8x10) sized shots and how the net revenue should be split between us. I have no qualms about sharing the photos without compensation for their internet use, but I think a split of funds would be appropriate for sales.

    Your suggestions? Comments ?

  2. Depends on how many photos they plan to sell? I'd also base on usage. If they sell them for $20 a photo...I'd say take $10 per photo. They handle the selling and distrubution and you just sit back and get the checks!

  3. If it is a charitable oranization...then why not just lease the image rights on a yearly basis?
