Indeed, it was great with very few people around. I ran into 2 other fellow shooters lugging our tripod around. M9 + Zeiss Biogon 25mm.

Good work Tri - its good to see someone trying to capture a new interesting angle on such a famous landmark, and you've done it very nicely.

The Zeiss 25 is on my list.
It reminds me of "Death in Venice" too.

Thank you fellows. Per a suggestion by a Leica forum member, I went back and toned down the bright part of the bridge to make it look more natural. In the original shot in color, that part was brighter because of its proximity to the lamps. Here is a revised version.

Agreed that the second version looks more natural. Certainly.
The lighting on the first version offers something special, though.
Hm, choices.
