Went down to the local pond yesterday afternoon to see if there was any activity, and can't say that there was much. At this time of year the pond, which is really a little cove off Lake Washington, is pretty much covered in Lilly Pads, but did find a River Otter that was pretty active. This otter would forage on the bottom and come up with either a large snail or a mussel and then climb up on an old log and proceed to devour it.
