353/365 - tsc christmas party
I love these guys. This is my Toronto Subaru Club family and I can't believe it took me this long to post their picture in this project (although, I probably have their cars here somewhere). We're the downtown crew of that huge club.
A random idea popped in my head last year that we should do a little Christmas dinner and we had such a blast that we had to do it again. I sent out a mass message and everyone loved the idea. This year, the group was a lot bigger and we had over 25 people show up. I haven't laughed like I did when we exchanged presents and it was an awesome, awesome night.
I would've loved to go up but I didn't want to raise my ISO either haha. I'm still shooting with a DX so I'm a little limited, though the D7K handles ISO pretty well given the size of the sensor.
And D800 now? HOLY! You change cameras more often than I change socks haha.

Yeah, I was too spoiled by the "pro" features of the D700, so i swapped them out.

Another one of these photo collages. I figure this is much easier than singling out one shot and not showing the rest; I'm not here to win any awards but to make memories.
Again, I didn't capture everyone. Again, I got distracted when my food came and then I stopped taking pictures. Yesterday night was a lot of fun, just look at the smiling faces of these Subaru owners!

I remember this was one of my first projects with the D7000. It's just one of those oil and water experiments that everyone seems to do when they're feeling abstract.
It's a crazy world out there especially if you have a macro lens.

Ahh, Friday. Today was my last day of work until next year, just like the many of you. Therefore, I had many things to do today and was so tired when I got home. Seeing all these presents under the tree did cheer me up though.
I can't believe I only have 10 more days to go with this project. Time moves so fast.

358/365 - all i want for christmas is...
Today, my family and I decided to open our Christmas presents because we'll be busy with family parties in the next few days. My family decided to get me race-track oriented presents this year. The helmet was my gift to myself, Giselle bought me the GoPro and my parents bought me the shoes and gloves. I was a happy boy.

Kayla is my cousin's new baby girl. She's the first girl in the next generation of our family. Already, she's the favourite of all my aunts and I'm sure she'll be a very spoiled girl growing up haha.
