I was working in my front yard the other day when I felt like I was being watched. I looked around, and sure enough, I was...

This picture is thru a window....

When she flew away for a moment, I saw what she was sitting on...

A few days later when I came home from work, I found these little things...

It's been both joyful as well as stressful watching the nest. We had a terrible storm the other night and the small flimsy tree they are in was really getting whipped around. She and the nest held firm, although I was stressed to the limit watching them thru my window! Thanks for looking!

I have looked at these more than once and I think you have an opportunity for a great documentary series. You already have an outstanding beginning and I'm looking forward to seeing the progress. Keep us posted!

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I look forward to getting some more pictures as the nestlings grow. If any are post-worthy, (and even if they aren't!) I will definitely share them! Thanks again!
  7. How cool is this? Keep shooting and posting. I love the color of the eggs. In Palm Beach, FL very expensive boats are painted that color - Robin egg blue :) . Well done and great find!

Thanks everyone! We've had a cool snap here in the Nashville area, and mom isn't leaving the nest much. Hoping the snap a few pics today when she goes hunting for lunch.

    Thanks again,
