This was the 70-200 @ 2.8. No flash. Perfect light that day. Almost complete overcast of very light clouds. Almost no wind to blow little stuff around and make fuzzies. Fun day.

I too think this is a very good shot. What would make it great for me would be not having that out of focus distraction of the microphone boom coming right into the viewer. I can accept those things when they are to the side, but this one comes right out of the chin and thus I cannot ignore it.

Walter, I agree that the image would be better without the boom, but it is not a deal breaker for me. Thank you for your contructive comments. This is how we get better.
