First trip to Rocky Mountain N.P. coming up. Any 'must see' recs?

Know nothing about the place other than what I'm picking up from the guide books. Splitting stays between Grand Lake and Estes.

  2. Oh, man, where to begin; you can get some great shots of Meeker and Longs Peak in the morning if you hike in a fair distance - you can hike as if you were going to climb the Keyhole Route or you can go towards the base of the Diamond Wall - it's all stunning alpine terrain. It would be good to start from Estes in that case.

The Holzwarth site has some interesting relics if you want pioneer-style shots. One my favorite hikes is the one into Timber Lake; more lush and green on that side of the park.
