Why I kept going back to this subject is a mystery. I'll never make a great image of it. But I think I learned.

You see, I want to use the big camera to shoot black and white lanscape sort of things. But I don't feel ready to focus on the subjects as yet. I don't understand how film reacts to light well enough yet.

Fun times learning though.

I really like the splash of rainbow flare in the D200 shot! Your capture of the fine detail in the shells is really good considering the first shot of this location you posted some weeks ago. Too bad that solar halo isn't a regular thing, eh?
