I am really fascinated with shapes and how they come out in B&W.
The first one is my favorite out of the two. If you saw it sitting there you would walk right by....It was actually a very pitiful rose....was on it's last days.
These were shot outdoors in full daylight...spot metered off the petals. Did some PP after the scan with exposure to blacken the background. Other then exposure and my special way to convert to B&W, I didn't do much to them.
Someday I wish to do straight B&W...but as it is now I also get some thrill off the color I catch now and again.
