I was in outback southern Queensland a few months ago and was staying in Yowah, a tiny opal mining town. Yowah is a long way from anywhere, like most of outback Queensland :)

Doctors are very thin on the ground in outback Australia and so large parts of the country are serviced by the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). This wonderful organisation brings the doctors to the patients, covering the vast distances by air. The RFDS was conducting their monthly clinic in Yowah while we were there, so I took the chance to snap a few pics of their plane, a Pilatus PC12.

I must admit, I was mainly playing with my new 10.5 fisheye, but I thought it might be of interest to the plane buffs here.

The RFDS and other Air-Med flight services do an amazing job. Up my way we rely on these dedicated people and their professional commitment that often sees them doing the most incredible work hours.

Great pictures! Sounds like you are like me and can't help playing with the 10.5mm.
