Rugby From Last Weekend

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by kiz5, Jul 26, 2009.

  1. D3 with 400 2.8 and 1.4 TC on it.

Unfortunately, the team that dominated the game was backlit for the first half, and dominated about 90% of the play. Second half, I had to shoot the other side, who ended up taking control a lot more in that half -- and was stuck backlit again. Ugh!

  2. Nice, where do you generally position yourself for rugby?

  3. Depends what I'm shooting with, and if its a one-sided game.

For this game, I was with the 400 2.8 with the 1.4 on, and just stayed in the end zone.

If I'm with the 300, I like to roam the sidelines, and use the 70-200 for lineouts.
