I posted these in "Medium" size....to safe bandwidth and make it easier to view....

I was just about to take a shot when it got spooked, but I had the D200 in "Continuous Low Speed" Mode, so I panned it while it ran and leaped.

I posted one shot in Landscapes yesterday.....this is the sequence I shot:

  2. Nice series, Paul. I can't say I've ever seen a white tail with that coloration in my neck of the woods.
  3. Pretty cool sequence!

Very cool sequence Paul. Isn't the big D200 buffer wonderful.
  5. Great series Paul. I never saw anything like this before.

    Thanks John!

I don't know what they call these, but I've heard that they're different here, and smaller.

Thanks Dave. I was using a 70-300VR.....my favorite lens, it's always on my camera until I "need" to change....

Thanks Frank. Yes, it is.....that CF light stays on an awful long time.....I don't even think about it with the D200!

Thanks Melissa. I have some "action" shots of a cat killing and eating a parrot that I need to process.... I took 417 shots   with the continuos speed mode.

I just don't think the sequence is appropriate for this family oriented site.

But it was interesting to see a predator in action close up!

Thanks Gale. I've viewed many of your bird shots, this must be easy by comparison.
