Rutting deers in Richmond Park

Discussion in 'Other Animals' started by johnaalex, Oct 13, 2018.

  1. The annual rut in Richmond Park is always an opportunity to get some shots of stags "strutting their stuff"

    All comments welcome, thank you.

wow.. impressive shots and impressive animals

  3. Wow the antlers on the males are very impressive. Are these deer or elk? Anyhow the size of the neck on the males when they are in rut is also very impressive

  4. These are red deer. There are two types of deer in Richmond, these reds and some fallow deers. What is alos very impressive is the noise the stags make!

  5. Thanks for the feedback. Good to know.
