Anthropomorphism is easy but it's not always right. Unspeakably horrible things happen to animals in the wild, and sometimes, I'm sorry to say, in poor zoos.
I recommend visiting a better zoo.

Great shots.

You definitely notice a difference in the animals at zoos versus on safari. I have difficultly going to zoos after being on one safari. I haven't been to a zoo yet where the animals show the same spirit and energy that they do on safari.
