Mebbe it's just the perspective, but to me the horizon looks tilted slightly.

Other than that, I can totally dig it.

Thanks...it'a kind of bothering me, too. I think it's because of how the shore cuts into the water more on the right, but I may try to "fix" it anyway.

I wouldn't hesitate to do so. Skewing the image ever so slightly would be an easy fix.

Excellent picture Glenn. It can't be easy to get such a good composition out of a scene like that, but you make it look easy. Very nice!

Thanks! This is a single frame...thankfully the D800 created a file that's more than 7,000 pixels across. Otherwise, I'm looking at creating five or six exposures (at 4 minutes a piece) for stitching.

great shot Glenn. Is that the convention center on the right? I was there for a trade show last summer but never got to see it from that perspective.
