I finished work early and took a trip to the zoo this afternoon. The gorillas were quite photgenic today. These were all taken with the D300 and 70-300VR:smile:

Simply wonderful work with the gorillas, Lisa. I'm very familiar with their enclosure at the SF Zoo, and am awed by your pictures. Kudos.

Thank you Frank, they were all in just the right light today and sitting pretty. There was also a new baby that I got a few shots of bit not as clear.

I was actually impressed that they seem to be doing some renovations to the zoo to improve conditions so it was not as depressing as the last time I went.

We need to get a meet up together and go again :)

Very nice set. All excellent but I'm awed by the flamingo shot, mainly because in our local zoo, the flamingo setup rarely lends itself for a single animal shot. I've been trying for a long time, and I can never get a shot of them this good. Well done.
