I may just uninstall my CS2 copy and then reinstall it.

    Is there some way to:

    A) Locate

    B) Save

My installed actions so that I can reload them in the newly installed copy?
  2. yes, save them to your desktop. load them then when you reinstall. it's pie my friend.

    We're Getting There....

    Ok....now the question becomes....

Once they are created and in the actions drop down menu....how do you then find the actual file to save it after it's already been created?

I've tried doing a search for them and nothing comes up?
  4. You might want to see if you can find this file on your computer.
    Actions Palette.psp

I won't swear to it being the correct file but it is the one my computer uses for actions created within photoshop.

On my computer it is located as listed below.

    Documents and Settings/ Your user name /Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop/9.0/Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings/Actions Palette.psp

A good place to go for actions and action info is here.

  5. Jim, you might want to try this:
    Photoshop CS
    - Presets
    - Photoshop Actions

If you find them just drag and drop them in a file called My Software and then when you re-install Photoshop you can drag and drop them into the proper file again.

You coud do a search for .atn
Then highlight them all and drag to a folder you have made on your desktop
