    Best time for a looong lens. Usualy don't see these guys in daylight.

    Please tell us how close you were to 'your stinky friend'. I think I would have run away instead of shooting a picture. Definitely no time to set settings :)  Good job getting the picture!

    about 5-10 yards. I was just walking through a field and noticed some movement. I watched and even followed him for about 5 minutes. When it appeared that he was getting a litlle nervous, I headed home.

  7. awwww, stinky or not, skunks are cute! As for coming out in daylight, they do around here if they have babies to feed!
