Sb-600 & D2h

Discussion in 'General Technical Discussion' started by Louis Champan, Dec 22, 2005.

  1. Are they compatible and does anyone have any tips on using this combination for indoor shooting?

  2. Works fine for me. You won't get AA and strobe flash modes, but you'll hardly use those anyway. The big minus is the lack of a commander mode.

For indoor use, try bouncing off a ceiling or wall.

  3. SB600 was designed to work with the D2 series of cameras and the D70. It is the sister of the SB800 and is often used as a wireless remote with the SB800 being the master.

  4. Thanks guys for your comments. I've got a SB600 that I've been using on my D70, just thought I'd throw this out there due to nothing in the D2H literature refers to the SB600. Maybe it wasn't out at the time of the printing of the D2H manual.
