I purchased this turbo battery when I bought my Canon 580EX II. Will it work with my Nikon SB-900 flash? If so what would i need to make it work?

    Thanks

Do you know the name of it? or where I can buy one?

    Thanks

  4. By the way - I am assuming that the SB900 takes the same cable as the SB800. Probably does since this cable works with most earlier Nikon flashes, but to be safe, either call B&H or Quantum directly.

The correct cable is reference CKE and it is made by QUANTUM and not NIKON and CKE fits and works very well on the SB900!!

I just talked to quantum on the phone and they said right now with the Quantum Turbo SC there is no cable yet that will work with it. They are working to get one approved and ready I believe.

That confirms some user experiences on a few messages I've seen on DPreview which say that the CKE cable will not work with the SB900.

I would assume they will have an answer some time next week.

They asked me if I wanted to send it in to get it configured to the SB-900.
