Very nice stuff, but I love the old school shot!

Reminds me of an encounter I had with another "Old School" shooter in Chaco Canyon, a couple of weeks ago.

He had a 4 x 5 and was burning a lot of film at one location (I could see him for a while as we were going through a maze of a pathway).

Finally got to where he was set up and I asked him if he minded me setting up somewhat close to him.

His reply? After he looked at my gear, he said, "I guess it's okay, but I see you're from the dark side".

He then went back to his camera.

Ah, Washington Square Park in the Spring! I went to law school a few blocks away and lived in the West Village for a few years. I spent many wonderful days playing (soccer & frisbee) and hanging there.

Thanks for the memories.

Robert,
I love all of these, but the springtime in Washington Square photo is so amazing to me. How you caught all these people in all those shots and put them together is a mystery to me. It's a photo I can look at for a long time. There are lots of "mini" photos in the photo.

This image was taken during Fleet Week in NYC.
The morning sun produced nice shadows and the blimp added depth.
I will have to reprocess this image because of a few errors

I shot this image while crouching down at a focal length of 12mm which produced interesting distortions in the dancers.
A fun image taken on a sunny 85 degree day in washington square

A cloudy day producing diffuse lighting in Times Square. This area is so different from the seedy days of the 80s.
I experiment quite often in Times Square. I will have to retake this image on a more interesting day

This image was taken years ago with my D100 that
I discovered while going thru some old photo folders. For fun,
I added my logo "RFC Graphics" in a graffiti font to the
roof top shed(extreme left side) just right of the door

Thanks again everyone
