I finally got myself a Variable ND filter today, and tried it out for the first time.
Gotta tell you, hiking into where waterfalls are with the extra weight of a tripod and a couple of lenses is hard for this old man ! There wasn't much energy left to wade the river for alternative compositions.
Shooting with filters and tripods ( low to the ground ) is not easy work
