Screws for Flash Brackets...

The screws I'm using to attach the flash to the bracket, and to attach the camera body, are woefully inadequate (as in, don't stay tight, have to use a dime or screwdriver, etc.) Any suggestions as to how to find screws that have a "tab" to turn them with and a washer to keep them snug? I'm using a Custom Brackets CB junior. Thanks!

You could try something like this Studded Thermoplastic Knob with a 1/4-20 stud for $0.76. If you can't find one short enough, this should be easy to cut to fit and dress up the end with small file.

Get some of this to coat the screws with. It will keep them from loosening by themselves, but still allows you to unscrew them.

You can probably find these "thumb screws" at your local home center, but if you can't, any type of fastener can be found here.

Get some Loctite Blue to put on the threads and you can take them off later, but they won't move otherwise. Use fingernail polish if you want them to stay practically forever.
