  1. A few seagulls were putting on an air show. I tried to capture some with my manual focus lens - lotsa fun! . The sun was pretty harsh and I could not prvent some blowouts...

All: D2x, Nikkor Ai-S 300mm f/2.8 (hand held, wide open)

Did this guy have just one leg??

  2. Very well done Frits!

I am impressed! Well done Frits. It seems there are a lot of one legged gulls around. I wonder if turtles have something to do with that?

    Great job Frits!
  6. Pretty impressive. BIF aren't easy with AF, let alone MF. Your focus mechanism obviously employs a highly advanced algorithm.
  7. That is skill Frits

    Well Done
  8. Beautiful!

MF and handheld! Hats off to you, Sir.
  9. Thanks Phil!
It is a pretty cumbersome and heavy package, but I kind of reacted quickly grabbing the camera/lens when I saw them.
Normally I would use the tripod.
