Do yourself a favor and take your camera off auto white balance. Set your white balance manually.
Better yet, shoot RAW and deal later. In my experience shooting a lot of high school gyms, they have a mixture of sodium vapor, fluorescent and daylight, which makes the white balance different from region to region on the floor and different for different times of the day.

A real mess and best handled processing a RAW file if possible.
