  1. The puppets for the puppet shows are made out of wood by the village artisans to play the characters. They are very tastefully attired with silk clothing and the ornaments. They are painted in facinating colors to capture the attention of the audience. The puppet shows are still held in the rural India during the carnivals with mythological and folklore plays. Though it is a dying art, it still patronised in the countryside as entertainment.

    These two puppets are the warriors in the play. One can make out from their mustaches.
