Self-timer mode

Hi everyone, please bear with me. I have just recently purchased a Nikon Z50, and I want to take a self portrait on a timer. I have found the self-timer settings on the menu and set them appropriately. However, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to actually use the self timer! It's not in my manual, and all the Youtube videos I see aren't for this model. Once my self-timer settings are in place, how do I actually use it? Which mode should my camera be in? Any help you can provide would be great. Thank you for your patience!

Thank you!!! It took me a while, but I got it! Phew, I really need to learn the basics of this camera! I really appreciate your help, and I downloaded those manuals! Very helpful!
