I used to think that only eagles inverted in flight. Short Ears are pretty good at it too. I shot this sequence spring of 2018. They looked a bit soft when I chimped them so I never got further than that with them. I remembered them and thought they'd be candidates to try out Sharpen AI. They'll never be print quality but they came out OK for documentary shots.
Shot across the Palmer(AK) "Hay Flats" with the Chugach Mountains in the BG. The mountains were under heavier cloud resulting in a dark BG for the birds that were better lit. Shooting birds interacting in flight is one of the more difficult things to do with BIF. These were far enough away to get them both in the frame and reasonably IF.
