While heading out to my Westhampton farm stand shoot last week, I passed an hospitality flag that the property owner had hung out by the street (rather than on the house, as is more usual here in New England). The sun was just at the right place to provide a dramatic backlight on the flag against a backdrop of unlighted trees. I turned the car around, went back and parked, and used my trusty 80-200 to isolate the flag. Here is the result:
