I see more in the color version, so its color for me. Nice shot by the way.
It wasn't until today that I even thought about a B&W version..... All I the sudden I was asking the driver to STOP!!!!!! Just so I could take this photo..... No one else was watching....guess they were thinking about "animals"!
Both are nice. I prefer the B&W version.

It wasn't until today that I even thought about a B&W version..... All I the sudden I was asking the driver to STOP!!!!!! Just so I could take this photo..... No one else was watching....guess they were thinking about "animals"!

When I asked our experienced guide in Madikwe Game Reserve to stop the auto so I could take a photo of the road ahead of us, he said that was the first time anyone had asked him to do that. He wasn't being complimentary. :D

I'm thinking it needs a 9x16 crop

That would work well. On the other hand, displaying the sky as in this version also works well.

For landscapes I nearly always opt for color and that's the case here. The B/W version looks rather washed out to me. Not much definition in the sky and the green leaves are really light. But I'm no

Thanks for the feedback. Appears it is about a split between B&W and color.

@Allan - I did crop to a 16:9 aspect ratio......
