Setting Lightroom for D3s or to match Nikon NX

Nov 18, 2005
To make a long story short.....bought a D3s last week and it has a couple of red pixels at high-iso ( + 1600 ISO, more noticeable at 6400 and 12800 )....i won't send it back or have it remmaped because i know any camera will develop these at sometime in life...My D2Hs had them, though my D700 with 73.000 actuations didn't seem to.....

Lightroom seems to handle these things and automatically eliminates them during the conversion to Jpeg, NX doesn't...but i'm having a hard time to make Lightroom match the colour output i get from NX, though, noise seems to be better handled on Lightroom...

Any help / feedback on this ?

I shoot a Macbeth ColorChecker card and use the free Adobe DNG Profile Editor to create my own Lightroom profiles. That works well for me. I can then tweak the newly created profile (if necessary) to get what I want.
