Very nice series Durgesh!! I'll never get to this level with scenic shots, but that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the talents of others.

Thanks for posting these. Gives me something to shoot for. 8)

Love the second one.

Now the fourth one. That is quite interesting. Curious about it tho. What do I see just poking up out of that wave. Or am i just seeing things..

I love pics of just water. Have a couple of my own. Very relaxing. Wish I knew an artist that could paint it on my wall.

Gale,
You are not seeing things :)
It's a surfer poking out.
I was hoping to catch him on the top of the wave but didn't get any special ones to share.

Hey Frank,

Yes, I have good intentions of posting more :)

Although, more than kudos suggestions for improvements would be great.
I know most of my shots can be improved.

I am trying to dig out my old shots which look nice :)

Nice perspective on the city at first light. Well done. Ft. Point is a good place to photograph from and brings back many good memories of my 20 years in the bay area.

Durgesh,

I know just what you mean. I asked for feedback (and got some good responses) over on the Birds and Animals forum a little earlier.

The thing is, while there are always folks that we can learn from at places like the Cafe, DPR and other sites, there are also those of us that learn from posts like yours, so we all benefit.

Regards,

Frank

Nice shots. I like what you did with the second one. I did that same shot before, but my DOF was too shallow. I need to get back for a re-shoot one day. Not having a car does have disadvantages at times :(

This is an amazing shot. The soft tones and smooth shape of the wave are a delight. It's a fine composition, but the little, unidentifiable chunk of surfer is a sour note in your symphony. It adds nothing to the image, but disturbs the shape of the wave and attracts the eye needlessly. I'd suggest cloning it out.
