I don't usually take photos of sheep, but when I saw these, I just had to stop and get some photos! All taken with D200, 85mm f/1.4 lens. CC appreciated. Thanks!

Too funny the way they all have numbers on them! Reminds me of the commercials where the guy gets a new mattress and the sheep come to complain that they aren't needed anymore and they all have numbers on them; they're Counting Sheep!
  3. Neat, Too bad no sheep dog! Look like Cheviats but I could be wrong. Numbers identify the sheep, duh. But where I take my dog for herding, all the sheepies have names.

Did you see, there are a couple of black sheep in the pile:)
  4. Ah, so that must be a woolgathering

    Great series and perspective!
  5. I vote Dorsets maybe not but there is a Suffolk or two in there.

I used to shear sheep in High School. I had two jobs and my mother always signed me up to shear..... Ahhh 20 or so nasty devils full of ticks in the middle of winter. Thanks for bringing back great memories... :Crunk:
