Featured Shooting Bangkok to the Extreme!

If there was ever a city made for street photography, Bangkok gets my vote. This is where street photographers are born! This city literally puts all your senses at 10 and you can be inserted anywhere in BKK and start shooting away. The moment you hit the streets, you're exposed to overwhelming sights, sounds, smells, people and architecture all thrown together. It's a very visceral city and unlike anything I've experienced before. I melted into the environment walking the streets, consuming the local street food and blending into the endless maze of people.

You can see the photo set in it's entirety on Flickr

Shots I posted here are with the Sony A7 II, E-M1 and Pen-F!

    Great series of pictures Jonathan.
I, as electrician, like the wiring one most. Chaos!

    Thanks for showing

  7. That wiring is insane! I found it so fascinating because it's like a big tangled web.

  9. I had an amazing time there, I literally just jumped into the city and navigated my way through! My next trip though, I'll definitely visit other parts of the country!

A great collection, thanks for showing us.
It shows the importance of a really wide field of view in the tight spaces.

Very cool series of images. Thanks for sharing.

  13. After walking Bangkok, I realized I had no clue what serious street photography was about! It's on a whole other level there. Now I want to go visit other cities with similar hectic vibes!

  18. I recommend traveling as light as possible in regards to camera equipment. To be honest, I probably brought more gear than necessary. An ultra wide angle is a must especially shooting in the city and the temples. Also there is a vibrant night scene with lots of markets and other festivals going on almost weekly so having a good low lens is a good idea.

  19. A splendid series. Bangkok is my favorite town. Been there many times..
