Today I had the distinct pleasure of shooting with Ron Reznick(thanks Jeff for the introduction).
In the couple hours we spend shooting, I must say I learned much, including but not limited to the fact I have much to learn

Only one of these shots are from our time (I'm still processing a couple more) but they all reflect his teachings.

  2. You lucky dog you!

I hit SJWS quickly today, Eric gave me a call and was headed down...I'm about ready to post some BIFs.

I've been contemplating hiring Ron for a 2 hour session...it will be worth it. Before I do I need to upgrade my janky ballhead and get a 1.4x TC instead of the 2.0x...

Nice captures, I really dig the Kite...a lot!

Excellent shots. I have to fully agree with your assessment of Ron. He's about as good a teacher as one could hope for, and a genuinely nice guy to boot. I really hope that we can talk him into coming to Merritt III for some east coast shooting.

    Hi Gil
    thank you
I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. This was just a chance meeting and not one of his classes.
You know just a few photog lovers out for an late afternoon shoot.
Having said that shooting with such a fine photographer and really nice guy, just somehow elevates everyone else's shots who gets to be there, and I feel blessed to have been part of it.
