Shot these while I was down in Ft. Desoto for MI4. Have some more to process but have had the desire to post some bird shots:biggrin:

Nice reddish egret!

I'd love to join you at your next trip to Fort Desoto, but my D80 has a Subaudio Titanium-Three Innerspace Reddish Egret Repulsor Modulator built right in, so I'm probably not invited.

There're some prime migrant duck hang-outs in the retention ponds on the road out to the Fort. In the winter, there are usually a couple of bird watchers out there with scopes worth more than my car. (I offered to trade my truck for one once and was actually laughed at.)
