Much of the U.S. has been hit by winter storms this week. Idaho has been no exception, although for us this is typical and no big deal. I hope you are all well and warm and have power. I would love to see your storm photos if you took any. We have had snow storms off and on for several days. The weather cleared out today and I ventured outside.

Here are mine. Nothing special. Just snapshots to document the week. But, I'm trying hard to find ways to enjoy the winter.

If you are having warm, beautiful weather you are welcome to brag.....

Last night....

This time of year the sun never gets too high in the sky.

Fresh snow is so pretty.

The snowy neighborhood. Our roads got plowed right away.

Great idea Terri and your pics are quite a bit more than just "snapshots." Nice all round.

I think it was day before yesterday I heard a weather person on tv say that, in the lower 48 only Georgia, South Carolina and Florida did not have snow, I assume in the last 24 hours. That is a good thing because we absolutely do not drive well in snow. We don't drive well without it either, but we're murderous with it.

Winter still going strong here. We want to go snowshoeing today. Hope we can make it happen. The winds are strong. Keeping the driveway clean is a daily chore for Greg.

We headed to the mountains to go snowshoeing today. To get to our destination, we had to drive through a little town called Ashton, Idaho. It was storming hard by the time we got there. They ended up closing the road so we turned around and went to another destination that took us about another half hour or so to get to. February has turned into quite the weather month for us.

Getting ready to close the road. We got there just as they were working on getting the road block down.

I hope this house is vacant because it is certainly not accessible right now.

They are running out of places to pile the snow.

This old Suburban isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
