Yeah they look better IMO to. This one actually turning to summer fur. The grey will soon be gone.

You are right and its to much blue in the blackbird...

My squirrels (AKA, tree rats) always seem to jump in deep shadows only! Nice catch, and a Blackbird's tongue--how cool is that!

I did not have much time to go find critters because we expected guests so more prepering of food and stuff like that.
But i did take some time in the backyard with my camera.
I try to set small goals with my shooting and latest was to try to get a decent SIF-shot. I belive i can improve but it turn out decent. I enjoy to try to achive these small goals.

Photo #2 is wonderful! I much prefer the original version. The histogram confirms that it's perfectly exposed and that only subtle changes should likely be made to attend to personal preferences.

Yeah. Now that i look at second edition i also belive first one is best. The dark shadow kind of ruins it a bit in the second edition...

Yes i am.
I use lightroom 5 and sometimes photolab for noisereduction.
However this one i played around with in topaz sharpen AI that am trying out.

I looked at your second shot on my large monitor and it looks ok. Gotta stop commenting on photos based on how they look on my phone. Sorry. Again nice grab of the SIF .
