Jumpin jacks jehosa...

Knowing my Euro-Dollar conversion rate, this lens will come in at 800 Euros.

800 Euros for a lens that covers the 28mm f2.8, 35mm f2.8 and 40mm f2.8 Equivalent FOVs on DX (you know, those primes that nikon doesn't make :p) Holy smokes... I haz to have one :D

I want! I won't be in the market for a new lens until the fall, so I can't wait to see some hands on reviews of this lens

Well, guess I'm getting rid of my Siggy 18-50 2.8 and Nikon 35 1.8. Ahhhh, if only this thing went to 50MM. Now, if only Rokinon would get off their heels and release that 10MM 2.8 I've been waiting for so I can unload this Siggy 10-20. First world problems at their best.

I've already gotten rid of my Nikkor 17-55 in anticipation for this lens.
It was a sad day getting rid of the Nikon but got a Sigma 50 1.4 I've always lusted for, for it, plus some cash to fund this Sigma 18-35.

Is this seriously one of the biggest things to hit photography in a long time? Think about it; what's the price of a 24 1.8, 28 1.8, 35 1.8 and everything in between? Let alone the convenience of not changing lenses. Even if the quality is slightly below that of primes, this is still a huge deal. I'm now wondering what all the naysayers whom refuse to put any lens on their bodies if it isn't Nikon will do now. What, wait for Nikon to follow suit of a 3rd party developer? I really don't see that happening.

Can't sue anyone from being innovative.
I see this as a push on the big companies to deliver an answer to Sigma's eye-opener.
