Grew a beard waiting for one of my 3 pre-orders to materialize. Found one
in a Nikon mount via Kenmore Camera, WA. Props for excellent packaging
and free 2 day Priority service.
No tune/no dock it goes on the D500 mañana
More to come ie: pics/review

These look great, and I can see why you ordered right away after reading that Lenstip review! Hard to believe that a 10x zoom could have no truly weak focal lengths, especially one that goes to 600mm!

Thanks, Amin...it'll probably live at 600mm, but nice to know that crazy range is available (y)
Shot in crappy 11 am light BUT it still has some "pop" to it!

Is this center focus point? I'm only asking because the last Sigma lens I took a chance on only AF'd accurately with the center focus point, anything outside that had such a severe back focus that it couldn't even be corrected (Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 in Nikon mount).

Group AF, one nudge to the right of center. Had no trouble with the 18-35 (early adopter)
but finally sold for lack of use at those FL's. Currently have the 50-100 f1.8/135 f1.8/100-400
and now this 60-600 Sport. AF on all is excellent (and I currently employ 3 FX and 3 DX bodies)
How are you liking the Z6?

Beautiful Will, these are really sharp. I didn’t know they made that lens.
Thanks, Rick. Been looking for one for 2 months...they were only avail. in Canon mount.
Found a shop in WA that had a Nikon one in stock via eBay.

Will I know you previously owned the 150-600, any thoughts you’d care to share between the two Sigma superzooms??

The 60-600 handles a bit better, is sharper wide open at 600mm, zoom locks at many FL's,
excellent tripod ring w/AS foot, tad lighter but seems an even nicer build. Just started going
thru the paces with the D500/D7200. I'm quite impressed with it on my FX bodies. Stay tuned. (y)

Thanks for the info. Loving the Z6. Have not picked up another camera since getting it. Everything I love about the Olympus micro four third gear mixed with everything I love about my Nikon gear.
