Being a photography forum and all, I thought it's about time to share a few with the group.

Here are a few recent ones. C&C welcome

    D300 and 70-200VR

D300 and 70-200VR - crop from a larger image but there was a distracting element in the frame that I didn't see till I got home. Shame because the full frame image was much nicer!

D200 and I forget which lens. This one is a few months old.

Thanks for your first picture post, I like your images. The lighting is very powerful.

My preference is the final image because I like the water reflections.

Maybe consider reducing the size of your watermark however, it's pretty big and is distracting.

Thanks for all of the great comments. The last is my favorite as well!

The watermarks are big and annoying for a reason; they're all hosted on Flickr and I don't want my stuff ripped off. Too many horror stories recently. I only started doing this in the last few months thus the last one is blank ;)  I started by using a typical signature on the bottom right corner of the images, but soon realized they were easily cropped out and I went to the full size one.

On another note; I hate post processing and usually try my best to get what I want out of camera. I'm by no means a purist, just lazy! These are ALL out of camera images with nothing done in post except for cropping and watermarking.

Thanks again glad you all enjoyed them.

Wow, my camera doesn't do frames or those creepy borders.
    That's way cool.

Ok, so I put some borders up too ;)

One of these days I'll get off my lazy butt and make some templates for better stuff! Those are standard borders in Corel PSP X2.
  9. Beautiful tones in the first one.

These have great colors and composition, but I don't like the borders.

    Thanks all.

I use the borders when I throw them up on Flickr. They look better against flickr's all white background.
