Poor driver - that hydrant jumped right off the sidewalk and hit his/her car.

How come the hydrant isn't spouting water like in films? :smile:

It looks like it's still attached to the underground pipe. Believe me, when I used to be a cop I saw this a couple of times where the hydrant was knocked off and it really does go up in the air just like the movies. Any time any utility was damaged it always turned into a real big PITA. And this dummy took out two types of utilities.

Cool set, I work for the local utilities and its never a fun day when that happens. To clip a power pole like that and knock over a fire hydrant I believe he was speeding. Just a guess. Also I've been in the utility business for too many years to count and I don't recall ever seeing a fire hydrant and a power pole being taken out together.
