OMG!! What an opportunity that is! Cant wait to see what you get, these are great with the stormy skies adding an interesting element.
Thanks, thought I would try converting the last to BW just for fun, I just added it to the post
These are gorgeous shots in spite of the overcast conditions. What beautiful colors.
Man . I think you were lucky to get skies like that.
I love shooting on overcast days .
Thank you Gordon
Yeah, clouds were good, was the rain that came with them
#2 just pulls you right into the frame! Outstanding image.
I like image #2 a lot.
Yeah Rain can be a drag.
Great shots ... we went up there a few years ago and just happened to hit a cloudless sunny day. Stunning, it was.
Rain's fun, eh? I'm beginning to think maybe I'll just shoot everything in B&W so it can all blend in!! Is the sun every coming back?
Wow Image #2 has such a nice composition!, the colours and perspective are also fantastic!!
Wonderful shots, Douglas. I think I like the color version more than the b&w. It seems kind of a shame to waste those gorgeous colors.
Thank you Andy.
It is my wifes favorite after I made it BW, thanks
Sun was out for a bit today Ken.
I added a BW since my wife didnt like the color as well. She wasnt keen on the brown dirt. Thanks Mike
I really love the 1st one
Wow! What beauty. The second one is breathtaking. Even my daughter, who doesn't quite understand my obsession with photography and the Nikon Cafe said, "Now that is cool!"
Thank you Gale
Thanks Sharon, what a nice thing to say
Nice shots. The sky looks great on the 2nd one.
Thank you Masa. I went back the next day hoping for even better sky... no luck
