Sketch of snow geese

  1. The conditons were that bad. Wind blowing from the NE at 40 to 50 mph (70 to 80 km/h), with a temperature around 45F (8 C), a cloudy sky and some showers. I had to resort to some abstract B&W interpretations.

    Christian,

I understand shooting in bad conditions, and I think you've handled this situation pretty well. I really like the composition on the shot that you posted. It has an odd sort of symmetry that catches my eye.

Excellent Christian! I clearly see your description of a 'sketch'. Really creative and striking.

  5. Thanks for commenting Frank, Gale and Chris. I chose to work on the composition rather than on "the" catch.
